Public Records Requests

This form is provided for your convenience in requesting public records. Requests are not required to be in writing, nor is the requester required to provide their name, e-mail address or telephone number, nor an explanation as to why the request is being made. For those who choose to make a written request, please complete and submit this form; otherwise please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at the telephone number or address listed below:

The request must be clear enough to enable the Town to conduct a meaningful search. The Town may ask questions about the request in order to respond to it fully and in a timely manner.

Please be advised that Florida Statutes 119.07(4)(d) allows for public agencies to charge a special service charge when the records requested require extensive resources.   Extensive clerical or supervisory assistance are defined under the Town’s Public Records Policy as time consumption over 15 minutes. When a public records request takes more than 15 minutes, the Town may enact the special service charge allowed under Florida Statutes.

Upon submission of this online form, your request will be automatically forwarded to the Town Clerk, Records Management Liaison Officer for processing. Your request will be processed in a timely manner. Should you require additional assistance please

Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send an electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact the Town Clerk's office at (863) 735-0405. Also, please be aware that all e-mail communications to the Town Commission and employees become part of public record which is subject to public review as well as the record retention requirements of the applicable Florida statutes.
