Affordable Housing Being Built in Zolfo Springs

Casa San Alfonso, an affordable housing community is being constructed at 3027 Schoolhouse Road on the site of the Catholic Mission in Zolfo Springs.  The building, once owned by the Diocese of Venice, will be demolished and a new development of 21 single family homes will be built on the nearly 12 acre parcel of land.  The development will feature a clubhouse for use by the residents.  A groundbreaking ceremony was held August 23rd and was well attended representing many local municipalities and agencies.
