Park Information:

Pioneer Park is located at 231 Wilbur C. King Blvd., Zolfo Springs, FL.  It is open 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday.  The phone number is 863-735-0330.

This 115 acre county owned park offers 62 grassy campsites.  There is a museum, wildlife refuge, hiking trails, a boat ramp to the Peace River, and fishing.

Looking for a great place to spend the day picnicking, or hold a family function (birthday party, easter egg hunt, holiday barbecue).  Pioneer Park is well kept and hosts the annual Pioneer Days Celebration each year in February/March.

The park also offers Camping, Museum, Animal Sanctuary, playground area, basketball court, restroom facilities, river access and is a wonderful place for a walk.  There are fees for camping, the museum and the animal sanctuary.  But, general access is free.

"Pioneer Park Days" Event:

This annual event is held at Pioneer Park, which celebrates the early days with a museum, vintage buildings and an old locomotive.  The park offers recreation facilities and camping, along with a charming little wildlife refuge.
